Best of Show

Best of Show is a series of short drama or singing projects giving young people a chance to rehearse and perform together. Each project is for around 6 weeks at a time, and is a closed project for a small group of young people to develop their performing or singing skills. Drama is used as the catalyst to develop teamwork skills, confidence and self-esteem and challenge lifestyle choices. The project is open to young people aged 13-19 in Harrow, and the groups are chosen on a first come first served basis. Some drama projects include re-creating,

updating and performing fairy tales, and re-creating and filming famous movies Different drama projects are run throughout the year, if you are interested in being involved or for more information about Best of Show please contact Rachel on 020 8863 2089 or email.

Fun Week

In the Summer Ignite run a fun week for up to 150 young people in Harrow Recreation ground. It runs all day and normally involves sport, art, dance, group games and food. It's an amazing week where any 13 to 19 year old that’s bored and got nothing to do, can come down and have fun.

Ignite also offers an opportunity for up to 30 young people to train as peer leaders for this event.Alongside practical youth work skills, the young people receive training in first aid, as well as help to write the programme for fun week.

Soul Survivor

Ignite takes a group of young people to a Christian festival every summer, which is called soul survivor. It is held at Somerset and runs over 2 weeks attracting up to 20 thousand young people. It is a great chance for some of Ignite young people to get away from their regular situations for a while and experience an amazing time of music, sport, worship, laughter and friendship. This is always in August and we normally take around 50 young people.
