Club 2000 aims to encourage and support pupils in school years 8-11 who are at risk of exclusion or who want to build their confidence through working towards an ASDAN bronze award, a nationally recognised qualification. The award is gained through completing challenges such as cooking, making bags, learning how to do nails and hair, making films and many more things.

One-to-one mentoring is offered to pupils in this programme for further educational and personal support. Two groups are running as part of this project: Bentley Wood High School and HT Girls Group.

Bentley Wood

A group runs in the school every week for girls who want to build their confidence and self esteem. Some of the challenges we have done recently are making a film about life at Bentley Wood, sewing bags and designing and printing t-shirts.

HT Girls Group.

This group runs every Tuesday afternoon from 1-3pm at the Ignite centre and is for girls in school years 10 and 11 from schools across Harrow who are at risk of exclusion. The sessions are informal and some of the challenges we have done are hair braiding, making cookies and filming a tv advert.

Club 2000 also offers educational support to young people connected to other Ignite projects who are struggling with their school and college coursework.
